Bach for Stargazers The most sublime flute and oboe music of Bach from sonatas, concertos, cantatas... Nicholas and Sien Vallis-Davies
GoldCD07Bach's music, written to aspire to the highest potential of human experience and as a force for good, is explored here in a dynamic interpretation. It is believed that Bach, like many renowned architects and artists, utilised the golden proportion (represented by phi) in his music, either intuitively or by design.

Flute and Bass Flute ~ Nicholas Vallis-Davies, Oboe ~ Sien Vallis-Davies. With thanks for contributions from LSO/London Philharmonic colleagues directed by N & S Vallis-Davies. Post production Temporal Bell, San Francisco, USATheyformed a company, Formedia, co-wrote and produced Academy books and CDs for their publisher Music Sales in the USA, and moved into media work for a time, presenting their own series for Channel 4TV and providing innovative music programmes for network BBC Radio and TV and Classic FM. During this time they also enjoyed helping clients in their London practice, moved their base to rural Somerset and took pleasure writing and recording evocative music for EMI (prominently featuring flute and oboe), which has accompanied films and productions throughout Europe and the Far East.
These days, Nicholas and Sien enjoy channeling their musical experience into running their Saturday performance centre, helping others explore their own creativity and achieve their potential. GoldCD07
