"Each of us has within the

Sien (‘CN’) and Nicholas Vallis-Davies have tremendous enthusiasm for helping their clients to shine and achieve whatever they want in their music-making. They have considerable expertise on which to draw...having originally studied composition and virtuoso performance on scholarships in London and Paris, they spent their twenties touring all over Europe, the States and Far East as soloists, and principals with the London Symphony and London Philharmonic Orchestras. They performed concertos for flute and oboe with world renowned ensembles including the English Chamber Orchestra and London Virtuosi, and they enjoyed the diversity of working with Sir Simon Rattle, Sir George Solti, Kiri te Kanawa etc.

They also recorded chamber music and concertos with Vladimir Ashkenazy, Tamas Vasary and Roger Norrington; for BBC, ASV and EMI labels. Subsequently moving into solo recital and studio work, their playing can be heard on film scores and CDs of all kinds of music.

For the media they have worked in the roles of presenter, producer and soloist for BBC TV and radio, Classic FM & HTV and they have co-produced their own series for Channel 4 TV.

Nicholas and Sien Vallis-Davies have also recorded atmospheric flute and oboe CDs and composed music, mainly for EMI, which features flute and oboe in beautiful and unique settings. Their music has accompanied films and productions throughout Europe, USA and the Far East.

They have a particular passion for helping others explore their creativity and achieve their full potential.

Having performed all the major solo and orchestral repertoire on the concert platform they can offer new insights into interpretation, while helping you explore your own individuality and unique 'voice' on the instrument if this is what you wish.

Both have much experience in the field of performance psychology. If you need help with eradicating stage anxiety there are plenty of new ideas and techniques to be explored here.
